The Airbus A300

The A300 is Airbus' first aircraft and the first twin-engine wide-body airliner. The A300 was manufactured by Airbus Industrie GIE (now Airbus SE) for 36 years from 1971 to 2007. In late 1967, plane manufacturers in France, West Germany (now germany), and Britain signed a contract of understanding to work together on a innovative airliner. The French and West Germans reached an agreement in May 1969 after the British left in April 1969 and created a company, Airbus Industrie GIE
